The only public source we have available on this person's case is a newspaper report (March 10, 2015), where the accused was anonymized (presumably by their initials) ‘R. U.’.
The newspaper article also reminds its readers that on February 17, 2015 “12 unemployed residents of Kanibadam and one of Istaravshan district” were convicted in Khujand for membership of the same “banned group Jamoat Ansorulloh”.
.According to the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan, “Jamoat Ansorulloh” is a branch of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and funded by “Al-Qaeda”. The organization was established in 2006 on the territory of the Pakistani province of Waziristan by separating groups of Tajiks from the “Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan”. Actively began to show its activity in 2010. It has the support of the “East Turkistan Islamic Movement”, the movement “Taliban”, “Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan”, “Al-Qaeda. His aim is radical Islam, the return of the Muslims of Tajikistan to the Islamic way of life and the formation of a single caliphate. Just like the IMU, it promotes the idea of terror over the Internet through the creation or use of extremist sites.
